Just putting a feeler out. The Touareg is being turned in and I'd like to get buyers lined up for the items. I will not pull them off the vehicle until I have a buyer.

-OEM Hitch w/ harness, control module & bolts: SOLD
-Monster Mats w/ oval retention clips: $75
-Dash Bin: $150
-Keyless Start (walnut): $225
-Custom fiberglass sub enclosure for 10" sub that mounts in drivers side compartment. I had an Infinity Kappa Perfect 10 installed and it sounded awesome. I'll get pics up when I get a chance. SOLD
-Custom bent aluminum amp rack that allows you to stack 2 amps under the spare tire. SOLD
-Custom Magnaflow Exhaust Video - $525
-5 17" OEM wheels with 265/70-17 Nitto Terragraplers - your 18's w/ good tires + $200 for the unused spare.

All prices are OBO and do NOT include shipping.

What are you getting as a replacement? If not Treg then sad to see you go.

Send me a pm on the sub enclosure when you get a photo of it.

No immediate replacement for now. Treg was just a spare vehicle and with the economy in it's current condition it seems better to lose a car payment for now. I will have a diesel treg in my garage in the future so no good by's needed.

I'll get some installed pics of the stereo components today.

The green plug is not where the Trailer Control Module connects. The Harness from the hitch will have two connectors: one green (that connects to that green connector) and another black one, that connects to the TCM. The TCM itself connects to the vehicle harness just forward of the CD changer/amp shelf in the right rear, up and forward of where you are looking. You have to take off that side panel to access it.

Nefarious, sorry for the thread drift.

I guess to add relevant info, I had the pleasure of hearing that sub enclosure/sub combo at the Rally in '07, and sounded great.

Speaking of great sound systems, what are you going to do with that awesome exhaust? Are you going back to stock, or leaving it on for turn-in?

You never know, simple electronics can be the most complex!

What do you tow with your Egg?

I am going to get a trailer and tow my Porsche to Seattle, Portland, and beyond for track days.

So far I've only towed my Corrado and small utility trailers. The 'egg did well with the Corrado on the back going through the mountains from Edmonton to here, even on Coquihalla downhill parts. If I was going to go with something bigger/heavier I would look at a brake controller.

I forgot about the exhaust. It's also for sale and I get pics of that and the sub enclosure next weekend. I had to leave town on business and didn't get a chance to take pics before I left.

Hey NV996, I was going jump on that tow stuff too, but you were in first and no sense in a bidding war.

Relic, I may have to pass on the hitch as I have found a LSD for my Porsche that I want. I haven't recieved a shipping cost yet, but I think the seller is away for a few days.

BTW there is a big difference between a 996 and a 997. ; )

Nefarious,
Sounds good, I'll have to get back to you, I wasn't expecting to be buying a hitch until the spring.

Im pretty sure the dashbin will fit the '08 but don't quote me. install instructions can be found on tregcentral.

also, pics were added to the first post as well as a video of the exhaust.

Yup, still have the sub & amps and might be able to be persuaded to sell it all as a package. The top amp is an Alpine MRD500 and the bottom amp is a MRD400. Sub is an Infinity Kappa Perfect 10

As for the dash bin; unless VW changed the dash it will fit and i'm pretty sure they didn't change the dash in the T2

So the 500 runs the Infinity sub, what does the 400 run?

How much per$uading is it going to take? ;)

Yup, 500 runs the sub. The 400 is a 4 channel that runs all the stock mids/highs. I just created my own passive crossover network and tied into the stock harness where the stock amp is located.

How's $500 for the sub, enclosure (including the customer grill), amps, amp rack sound?
