WOW, would not have thought it possible to get those monsters in the wheel arches.

 

So... Did another winch install.... These pictures are probably going to look very familiar to some of you but I assure you they are all new photos of the new install, haha.

 

Are those LED lights inside the cabin by the visor?? Please tell!

That is insane as to how much room there is behind the front bumper cover!

 

Wow I cant believe how slick the winch looks!! Servicing may be a bitch, but after how many time you have taken that bumper off doesn't seem like an issue

 

that thing looks pretty amazing. How hard is it on the suspension to keep it lifted all the time?

 

Those sensors in the front were shorten by how much ? And from which arm? The one on the sensor or the shaft in the middle?

And. About the suspension when you have it high does it. BEcome super stiff like in stock mode on its highest setting?

And the monster truck tires with Cayenne wheels - epic!

There's just one thing missing... A licence plate with the word "BADASS" on it.

 

And mostly rock sliders skid plates ,found a guy in australia who did all that but he sold his treg and doesnt respond to email anymore...

Rock sliders are next on the list for sure. Gotta protect those rockers! There is a company called Iron Rock Offroad that I bought parts from back in my Jeep days. I am thinking about ordering a set of rock sliders from them for a Grand Cherokee and modifying them to fit the Touareg. Not sure on the specifics yet but I will keep everyone posted.

I think Aussie member Odessa may have ended up with the sliders that Alex Gee originally fabricated, he may be able to help with specifics on mounting points etc.

Was wondering if you could measure a couple things on your rig.. wheel opening to ground distance and wheel opening to center of the wheel.. both front and rear would be great.

Also when you said you had to cut the rocker to fit the tires.. any photos of that area would be great... I would love to replicate your setup but with a steel spring 05 model..
