I have one from a 2007 v10. If yours has air suspension it will work. Make me an offer. I am located in Atlanta.

Not the bracket, but the bar itself??? Darn! I would ask the dealer to ask VW for a replacement. That part should never fail!

 

Would be very interested to hear any feedback on what lead to this failure, as I agree with nickyt that the failure of parts of this nature are almost unheard of. Are yours solid of tube type, as VW/Porsche run a variety of solid and tubular bars?

The bar is tubular with an epoxy/plastic coating. Looks like the coating failed where the bar goes through one of the body attachment clamp bushings. Not much corrosion but enough to start a corrosion cell where a crack initiated and ultimately propogated 360 degrees.

 

I have both the front and rear available off of my '04 V8. Just pay for shipping and they're yours.

 

Those brake more often than you think. i saw 2 2004 V8s traded in that way. Both around 90k miles
