Hello all,

Sorry that we will not be able to join you in Bega on this occasion, but very pleased that these musters are continuing to gather traction.

Last year we spent a very enjoyable 2 days parked up at the show grounds. I can you give you some hints to make your stay more comfortable.

1. Bring plenty of timber/ramps/what have you to assist to keep your caravan level, as there is a bit of a slope (not drastic, but you need to level up a bit).
2. Ensure you have enough length in power and water leads/hoses, because the resource outlets are not exactly plentiful, and you may need an additional few metres for water/power connection.

Apart from that, it is a very quiet area of town, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Best of luck with the knee op Stuart. if you need some words of encouragement, you have my number ;)

Could you now confirm if you are attending and dates that you require a Caravan/Camping site. If you want to stay longer let us know.
$20 per night per site which should also cover the hire of the room.
We will finalise Drive Days based upon feedback. OLIE

Hello Folks,

Thanks to Ollie for the great work.
Please include us as starters for Bega Showgrounds, subject to my recovery form an up and coming knee replacement surgery.

Stuart........
Hi Stuart, knee replacement stuff is a piece of cake (well for most people anyway) as long as you are reasonably active.

Sorry to have dropped off the face of the earth for a while, but life has been chucking stuff at me and I'm not getting reminders from here. Well done for getting this organised Olie and everyone. Unfortunately the dates don't work for me at this stage, with some work deadlines landing exactly that week so we are unlikely to get there. Shame as I was looking forward to meeting some fellow Tregers and doing some running about.

I am in for a camping spot, might have to leave a day earlier though

Hi All, We are back from our expedition to Cape York. Treg went well after a few days delays at beginning of trip changing the Turbo. Thanks Mark for your help you are a star. Confirmed booking for Bega Showground by phone and email after discussions with Hedditch and Spacesaver before our departure for 4 nights 27 September-30th September depart 1st October. Have rang Caretaker and emailed Manager/Secretary on our return to ensure booking confirmation. Have today received email and phone call confirming booking. Management agreed that we could book entire camp area if we had adequate numbers min 12 so will close camp area. They have also confirmed that the ball is on Friday 27th so expect some loud music and cars parking in camp area vicinity. They will manage this. Based upon forum Posts and phone calls the attendees look like Duby, Packhorse, Snooksie, Spacesaver, Coight, David Woody, I Brad, Weedie, Gregs, Bruce Allen, Singh, gldgti, Dragline, Hedditch, Seafarer and Olie. Understand that a few are subject to availability. There is no need to individually ring Showground caretaker for bookings. Based upon forum Posts we will advise Management potentially 14 caravans/ camping for four nights. If there are a few more/less I am sure they will be flexible. We will contact local president Sapphire Coast 4WD club as they have agreed to organise a local 4WD day. Understand from posts that BruceAllen and others were planning some 4WD days down South. Happy for you to organise and incorporate in the Muster. Let us know what you want to do. Olie.

OLIE, I uaasume Duby is me. I posted earlier in this thread to offer advice, but have not actually committed to attend.
We won't make this one, but thank you for putting up your hand and wish you all a great time. Cheers'n'Beers, Dub
