Good news! The Cunning plan, "as cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University"* had paid off.
We will arrive Friday 25th and will need to head back home on Monday 28th. We will be 'sans Van' due to the quick dash up and back and have just booked ourselves into the Jillaroo Cottage.
Would it be ok if we visited your campsite from time to time to talk about the important things usually discussed around campfires?
* With thanks to Captain Blackadder.

Gazza, sure you can come and visit... Bringing the drone - I suppose that's a silly question?

OK, all done & dusted. Confirmation from Trilby. We are booked in from around the 24th and deposit is NOT required. $23 couple, $30 family/night. Unpowered, riverfront site. Showers/toilets available but not sure how far away they are....
Expecting: Seafarer28, Ewie, Crowboy, V10-downunder, Tregtogo, Dragline1570, Dubby and GazzaK. Latecomers/drop-ins are most welcome.
Looking forward to our meet - only 38 days to go, but who's counting?

Thanks for your good work here Dubb.
FYI, the showers, toilets and laundry are in the Shearer's Quarters as marked on this map below. Probably a 5 min drive or 15 walk across the airstrip.

Make sure when driving to Trilby you drive along the North Western side which means crossing the Darling at Louth or Wilcannia depending on which direction you will be coming from. The main entrance is well sign posted and I would suggest when you arrive, drive straight to the homestead and Liz will point you in the right direction. Directions to Trilby here.

There is a small telecom tower near the homestead and reception is available for your mobiles.

See you all there!

URGENT

To all the 2015 GTG attendees..................., is there any interest in some tees for the GTG?

I have access to custom tee shirt printing through my fishing club interests so if there is interest along the lines of a tee with "club touareg" on the back (as per Singh's stickers) and something like "2015 GTG - Trilby Station" on the front LHS chest.
I haven't run it past Singh if he would be kind enough to supply his CT logo proofs as yet AND I haven't run it past my supplier if he can supply inside 4 weeks but if there is any interest from attendees and others I can get something going.

If it is to be a goer, timing will be of the essence so I think I will need to get an indication of interest from attendees and others on CT so I can get things moving and ordered before the end of this week.

I expect the tees will come in at less than $30 each (subject to numbers) but I will need an indication of how many of you would be interested in purchasing.

Thanks,

Tony

I am in for at least 2,

Thanks Tony..

Hi Tony, If it's a goer... 2 please, prefer polo's if there is a choice. O'wise tees it is. Cheers Dub

Hi Tony,

You mean even if Gerald still had his v10 we should think twice ;)

Hey Singh, If you roll up to the Muster, which Treg will you bring?

Good question Stuart, kinda reminds of that show farmer looking for a wife.
Should he go for the slim, uptight, pretty blonde from town or the healthy, fit, glowing country gal who's familiar with it all, doesnt mind the flies, the mud and will provide him with all the comforts, needs and look after him well.....
I'm thinking the country gal ;)

The 2015 GTC "Limited Edition" shirts will be a goer!

Currently working with my supplier about suitable embroidery (thanks Singh, for use of your CT logo!), the shirts will be 100% cotton Polos, pricing capped at A$30 (plus postage if required), subject to minimum order of 15 on which we are nearly there, colour still to be determined.

Once I have the embroidery detail and colour finalised I will be asking for sizing from those that indicated they would take one and order will be placed.

If you are thinking about ordering one, please indicate your interest here as we will need to finalise order by 31 August.

You don't need to be a GTG attendee to order a shirt, I can mail you one at cost if you would like one, so get your orders in by the end of the month or you will miss out.

TonyB

PS, would you like to see the blue VW logo included on the polo?
