I have a 2009 vw touareg v6 with the makalu 17inch snow tires
i was wondering is the touareg a easy car to flip over?

So me and my friend who drives a Range rover sport 06
we were driving up a huge mountain called stunt road in calabasas, Ca
those the touareg have better handling then the Range rover
could it take it on because when were driving i felt a lot of body roll on the touareg So if it can flip over around what speeds and how should i know
or touaregs are hard to flip over like they say it is impossible to flip over a porsche cayenne so please give me some ideas on how this works.

Since the Cayenne and Touareg are identical in terms of suspension geometry and chassis, they both behave the same way as far as handling is concerned (spring rates aside)

the touareg/cayenne can do a 45 degree incline, so its for the most part impossible to flip over.

Oh... if you work it hard enough you'll get it to flip... but the level of "nanny features" on the Touareg means that if you do flip it --- you must have been 'effing' off on a very high level.

I think the answer is no, not unless you are driving beyond both your capability and that of the car.

Well put lol.
I can say that I would never be concerned about rolling it, you can feel (especially my TDI) how heavy the thing is, and it's not at all top heavy, its all the heavy mechanicals down low... Idk just me maybe having never pushed it to those kind of limits but I wouldn't be worried

I think the asking of this question gives rise to some concerns ? All vehicles will Roll in the right circumstances or if driven poorly ! If you want to check rollover angles between the two vehicles go to the Specifications sheets on the Web. In any case this will not give anymore than theoretical information, after this it will be about the skill of the driver.

Bails, I agree with you, but flipping it over going down a typical curvy road is going to be unlikely (aka the Elk test).

As far as handling and body roll
the range rover sport should be better right
and on off road?
i heard theres a antibody roll bar or something that helps the range rover in wide turns?
