Just curious - anyone know where the Side Assist sensors are located on a T2 - i.e the sensors that detect a vehicle in your blind spot? My new to me 2009 has this option - very useful. Even though I have my mirrors set correctly and don't have blind spots, I still like the additional information and measure of safety...

On a T3 they are located behind the rear fenders, I'd assume it'll be the same on a T2.

That surprises me because the light stays on until the offending vehicle is almost in front of my car if that vehicle is passing me.

The blind spot monitoring does work really well. I've wondered about the location of the sensor(s) too.

I thought I read somewhere that it was behind the mirror glass but 100% sure

^^this, I'm not sure about the T2. Its a relatively large radar looking unit.

Should be in rear fender/bumper area per the ELSA Manual, i'll double check and post a picture.
