Are you going to use a regulator to clean out any voltage spikes ?
Also is there going to be a brightness adjustment ?
I'm thinking for few more bucks we could have both and bit of a protection for the LEDs.

Cut some part of the printed circuit board, made bypass for stop.

I have to upload a photo of the production process.
