OK, fixed.

Problem was a 10A fuse in the plenum chamber for the MAF & EVAP. All other fuses checked out and the EPC light is off. Now I still have the CEL on due to the intake manifold. We'll see what VW NA says concerning in service date and warranty as the manifold should have been changed when they changed the motors (instructions on the new intake manifold state that the following variable motors need to be installed - which were).

But at least I can drive it now. Thanx for the help folks!

It took some time as Bentley had the MAF /EVAP fuse in the driver's side fuse panel whilst it really is located in the plenum fuse box. Which BTW is the fuse I tapped into a year ago for my Audi DRLs because it prevented the lights from staying on for 5 minutes like Krak's do... Oh well...

Thanx!

No, don't think so as they light up fine and no problems since. Must have been a fluke as I can't think of what else it could have been. But since you asked a year ago or so which terminal in the plenum box I used (that doesn't leave the light on for 5 minutes) it's that one :)

Let me know when you install the lift as I was real close to Abbotsford last summer :)

Thank you Mr. Vicary, sometimes you get the Easy Button... but to think the MAF/EVAP fuse threw 9 codes from that to the pre and post O2 sensors... Thanx again, you were right on, just took a while to find it! :)

So just in case, the MAF/EVAP fuse is a 10A (red) fuse located in the plenum and position 13 in the pic attached (14 & 15 are for the pre and post O2 sensors). They are NOT, as Bentley stated in the driver's side fuse panel.

A 4 is the secondary air pump relay.

Thanx Nick. Any news on your trip, re. mirrors? Xmas is fast approaching and... :)
