A while ago I enquired with this guy about his bracket to fix the intake manifold swirl flap error code. At that stage he had only developed a fix for the 2L TDI motor. He has now contacted me to let me know that he has come up with a repair bracket for the V6 TDI. I've since replaced the control arms on mine and that has got rid of the engine light for now, but might be worth remembering this if the light comes back at some stage.
Repair bracket set for V6 Common Rail TDI fault code P2015 intake manifold flap; implausible signal

No affiliation etc, but thought some of you might be interested to know...

Hey Mick that an interesting solution.
I will be contacting them to ask a few questions.

Good find and glad the new arms fixed your codes
Looks like this could also be a bit of a preventative component to the flap issue before you get it!

Just as a quick FYI, Jim's stuff is really good. I have a DieselGeek short shifter & skid plate on my Golf TDI and couldn't be happier with them.

Again, as a preventative maintenance item, I have ordered a set of DieselGeek Limit blocks.

Stuart....

I installed a similar, but less expensive version (Kerma TDI) on my Jetta about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, Kerma does not make a 3.0 liter version. The one I installed on my Jetta works perfectly; I consider it to be a permanent fix. I have no reason to believe these DieselGeek versions would not work just as well. Pity that they cost so much.

Diggin up an old thread - purchase these from Poland:
Works perfectly, cleared error code with VCDS - no code comign back and flaps working correctly (I still have my valves fitted)

Yep work well mate has fitted a few sets of similar design.

How did you fit the small spacers and blanking plug without removing the swirl flap rods and butterflies therefore manifolds ?

So you didn't use the whole kit ?

Be aware i once removed the flaps from an engine that had been running for a few years with issues and the butterflies were badly worn from airflow

I bought the whole kit but only used the brackets. I had previously put new butterflies and seals in the manifold (about 10,000km ago) but of course I couldn't get the CEL to clear because of slightly worn linkage.
