Enjoy this beauty A8AWD.:joy:
I am looking forward to it. Doing the t-belt now, have some Hankook Dynapro ATM RF-10's in 265 60 18 on the way. Then I just need to address a few other things like the airbag light/under seat fix and it will be party time.

Emailed. Please post the link when it's up.
I have posted the file here:

FTP Server: ftp.carstrucksvans.com
FTP PW: jaguarxjr

SFTP Server Port: 22

Server type is: FTP/SSL (Auth SSL)

Please note that I am simply hosting this a convenience. I can not provide support on how to burn an ISO to disc, configuring your FTP client, etc.

If Etienne can send me the associated technical service bulletin, I will put that up as well.

Etienne just sent it to me last night. Here is the link to the file here.

Check out TSB 91-04-11. It's under the DIY section of the forum.

Also I could not get the nav to read the cd when I burned it with Windows 7 native iso recorder. I had to download Active ISO Burner from www.cnet.com and when I burned it using that, it worked.

Just in case anyone else has problems with it recognizing the disc.

Just got mine done. Anyone in my area need this I have the disc and instructions. Takes about an hour.

I need to upgrade software version to 635, but this link is dead. Any idea why?

Thanks.

Dunno..but if you pm me your email, I will send you the .iso file.

Hi Etienne,

I am a member of the ClubTouareg Forum. Like yourself a own a 2004 V10 Diesel Touareg. I have a battery drain problem which my local VW Dealership in Liverpool, England have diagnosed is due to a Drain from the satnav system. I have made them aware of the information you have provided on the forum. They do not have an update disc later than 0629 which surprises me.

Would it be possible for you to send me the information in ISO's format so my son can burn it on to a disc. My I.T. skills are not very good so hopefully this makes sense to you. Luckily my son is proficient in I.T.

Regards,

Richie

I have it as well.....I got it from Etienne so if you don't hear from him, PM me your email and I will send it out.

Hi LocoLobo,
I just purchased the Tournav 2004 VW Touareg Nav Update 0635 disk. During installation it stops after pressing the Navi key and says "The CD is incompatible". I've read your messages offering assistance to other members and make note that initially you could not get the nav to read the cd. I am facing the same problem with a new cd, so asking if you or other members have any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hi Danville. I had just a burned CD of the firmware that a member on here had sent me. I reburned it using a different .iso burner, and it worked the second time. I'm not sure why a purchased disc wouldn't work, unless there was an error when it was written.

If you want, PM me your email and I can send you the file I have, along with the link to the .iso burner program I used. I am guessing you already have the install TSB.

Greetings LocoLobo,

I do have the Technical Bulletin and all was going good until the incompatibility message. I'm from the old school, and son is away from home, so have no clue on how is burn a cd, etc., which is why I figured it was easier to buy the program.

I'll contact the vw library folks first to see if they can help and if not, I would like to try the .iso burner method, whatever that means.......
Thank you so much,

No worries. I sent you a PM about it.

Not a problem. Glad it worked for you.

Theo send me a pm with your email and i will get it to you. Just to make sure, you have a CD based nav system correct? I'm on my phone and cant see what year Treg you have.
