You may need to do some custom work for the plastic around the NAV Unit as well

That doesn't look like the same size as the modern passats, they have rounded corners and are not square in overall shape.

VW infiniti If you have the money to gamble with go ahead and take the plunge they say it is for B5 and Golf Mark IV if I am not mistaken their Steering wheel controls should be similar to the touareg's.

For that much cash why not just buy an OEM Toaureg Nav that you know will work and you know will fit...otherwise if you're going to macgiver it just buy a Pioneer Avic D3 or Kenwood dnx 5200 or something similar for the same amount of cash, both would be superior to what you're looking at.

Because of the computer feature on that radio. Can I hook a computer up to the OEM? Or the Pioneer?

If you're looking for video/audio display, yes...they will all work.
