PLO, if you disable the TPMS, does it give you some sort of annoying message that it is disabled or does it just stay quiet? That will be the first mod I do when I get my new Treg if it stays quiet.

On mine the problem was simply calibration. Once I entered a new set of thresholds it's fine. Meaning my TPMS is still enabled. Yeti, you might want to deflate your tire(s) turn the engine/ignition on. Switch it off and pump up to whatever pressure you and see whether it re-syncs.

I don't have TPMS on my current Treg. I removed it awhile ago. I am looking into the future new one I may get. If it is possible to turn it off I just may do that if I get a newer Treg. I found the old system annoying when you had an issue with it. Sounds like the newer one is not any better and has less adjustability. Meaning a relearn feature.

As promised I checked out to see if the TPSM light stays on with the system off...I'm happy to report that the light does not stay on. So you can shut it off without looking at a fault or TPSM light...
Just my 2 cents...

That is the answer I was looking for. So when/if I get my new Treg I will be shutting it off. Thanks Sean for checking that out for me.

The old system was not that great although mine worked fine. I removed it after getting a flat the other year on the rally and having to listen to the damn alarm and seeing the defective wheel on board message for a few of hundred miles on my way home. I looked at getting more sensors for the other wheels, but was cost prohibitive. I chose to completely remove the system from my Treg and could not be happier.

I know the T2's have this now as a standard feature, but reading about the levels not being adjustable or having a learning feature on it like the old system, I would rather turn it off.
