Looks like it is for the Canadian market with the maple leaf logo on the front. And all the veils could be for the Muslim market. :-$

 

through all the disguises i think it looks as crappy as a Land Rover Freelander or a rav 4 :bored: guess its not a fair evaluation without seeing it uncovered.

 

I'm not a fan of it. I have to agree with Ross06TouaregV8 on this one.

 

Honestly, I think it looks like a smooshed Nissan Murano. Not a big fan here.

That sunroof is pretty cool but then again, it probibly doesn't open.
Heck, maybe it'll have some cool new options that'll make us pleasantly surprised...

Not a good comparison. First, a fat woman can be pretty - but fat. Second, a bra and panties do not cover the face but rather the body.

The Tiguan is not fat. It is not covered with a bra and panties. Its entire nose and part of its tail are veiled. So you really cannot see the configuration of the nose and tail.

Additionally, who is to say that the body is the final production version? We've seen lots of doctored photos of the Touareg, Q7 and Cayenne.

 

Woa, taking a little banter way too literally! Even though the front and tail are veiled, you can still obviously see the shape or silhouette of the vehicle which is unattractive to me and most of the replies on this thread.

 

As spockcat said that may not be the final product , and besides which its just a prototype as it stands :-s

 

Personally, I think the body and sidepanels look very Asian, VW probably will try to sell it in the South American market or probably in the African.

Its not American market material.

exactly...look at the new jeep compass. People want the feautres of and SUV without the bulk or gas mileage of a full sized one.
