Hi Guys,
Who in Melbourne can help me turn this on? I don't have vcds, I probs could buy it but don't really want to break something so if anyone is willing to help me please let me know?

Ok so I got vcds but I don't think I have the camera?
I don't have a module 8E from what I can see.
I am also unsure how to do long coding, I have done the green screen section
But am I right in saying I am missing 8E?

Here's how to do enable it:

Green Screen in Nav: (Assuming green screen has already been enabled)
1)Turn on VZE under Car/Cardevicelist
2)Increase the number for VZE from 0 to 5 under car/carmenuoperation

With VCDS
1)module 17 Instruments, under long coding check byte 05, bit 02
2)module 8E Image processing, under long coding check byte 02, bit 0

Reboot Nav.

Select Sign assist by pressing the button on indicator stalk and enable it.

Car wasn't on when I did this, I just have it in accessories mode, I just turned the car on and tried again same list I found the long coding for 17/5/2 which is now done.

But I still can't fine module 8e? Does Acc need to be active? When I search for it?

And Acc was working last time I tried 2 days ago, it will speed up and slow down when I'm behind someone.

I will try again now on the way to work to see if Acc is still working

Acc was working, so I am missing the 8E module it seems.
If I type 8E or 85 directly it says missing controller were the words? Or unable to connect to controller.

Not that I know of its a 2017 adventure model with the upgraded 180kw engine
From memory it was purchased se Melbourne Volkswagen somewhere. I can check the manuals when back at my car

After what feels like 300 phone calls can confirm only 2017 adventure models with lane assist got that camera on the windscreen as it was an optional extra.

This car only came with radar, 1 behind the badge and 2 on the bottom of the bar.

Shame but it is what it is.

Wow, there you go. Every option pack in Australia has included lane assist etc when ACC has been added. The adventure must have been a very weird spec, there have been people who have been trying to find coding for a touareg with ACC but without camera, your coding would probably be helpful for people who want to retrofit acc but don't want the hassle of adding the camera.
