Big question is....does your camera now read the speed signs and display the data/value/symbol in your MFD?

No it does not read the signs, in the MFD "Road sign" menu i see black area.

In your case, assuming you have 7P Touareg just follow the instructions right at the top, dont worry about psd

Seems like in the latest version the label file has been stripped of this particular label for the bit.
But not to worry, just do it manually, go to byte 24 and change the bit 6 to a 1 instead of a 0.
Looking at the bits there first but from the right going to left

Tks for your answer Singh, my one is 2022 (2023) R line, so I’m assuming it is the CR model, so the PDS should be there… I did all the mods (apart the PSD) and the DRS is not working, all menus it’s showing on Radio but definitely not working.

The Byte24 bit 7 it’s not in there…

I was able to change everything apart this one which is the bloody PSD and the DRS is not working… I’m gonna plug again and make a photo to show what is happening…not sure if someone has experienced the same issue.

It's the latest version of vcds, it's not showing bit 7 that it used to before.
Just change it manually, from 1 to 0....it's bit 7, so count from right, first bit is 0 then 1, 2,3,....your seventh bit will be 1, change it to 0, save and exit

You have a 7P so you don't have the psd issues that CR owners have to work around with, so don't worry about that

Country restrictions still may apply so you may not have the tsr function depending which country you are in

Sorry Ian,
we were on the road back to Perth from Brizzy when you posted that.
I was led to believe the critical module is 8E (refer to Singh's post #16 in this thread).
There are some posts leading up to #97, where Singh declares that there has been no success applying these changes to cameras fitted to pre-facelift 7P cars (that change occurred circa 2015).
So that seems to be the application cut-off (as VW seemed to change the camera specs - amongst a lot of other things in the series post 2015).
