Hi George,
My tune currently is fixing the driveability of the vehicles after the "fix" while maintaining as
warranty and as much of the emissions stuff as possible.

If you have access to Odis I would keep what you have on there (if you like it), and if needed flash back to the latest version for warranty work.

I also have a performance tune in the works, once I get the turbo upgrade finalized :grin2:

He actually has the hotter (more HP) version of the 3.0 TDi with the stock GTB2260 so i'm a little jelly :grin2:

Back at ya sir.

So for those who don't know the 11-12 have the same TCM, the 13's have 1, the 14's have 1, and the 15-16's kind of share 1 (the flashed the 15 to the 16 after the fix and both have the same software)
What VW was doing behind the scenes was changing the TCM software every year on the VW's trying the actually get them to meet the emissions that they said they were producing.

So the older ones are less neutered from the factory versus the newer ones.

The 13's and up have the updated 3.0 with only 2 timing chains, and some other various upgrades versus the pre 13's. You can read more in the SSP aka self study program...:wink2:

I've done 2 2016's to date, actually one was today.
Rare unicorn there :wink2:

Can you tell me more about the emissions process?

ECU stock flash is coming soon, and of course the TCM tune has been going for a bit.

There is a bit of a wait for the 14's, so the fastest way if you are able is to send me your module.

Seriously though you don't have to do that.

As posted above the ECU is back in the works, and the TCM is available now.

There is a wait on the TCM exchange units, so if you are able the fastest way is to send me your unit.
