Hi Guys & Gals,

Took my T-Reg off road for the first time here in Scotland, the last time i was home dropped the wife of at work and thought what can i do now and a little light bulp appeared above my head....haha I didnt get as adventurous as some of you guys as i was on my own, maybe the better stuff will come soon mind you there is not many places here to take your vehicle. Ive attached a few pics sorry if they look dull in comparison to some of your pics but as i say it was my first time and i had a ball. I have not had this great vehicle for long so no Mods yet, but believe me they are on there way, with the wifes permision HAHA.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Would just like to say i think this site is great, i have found heaps of useful information.

Cheers

Hi Matt,

Thanks for you comments, your right it is great to get out and play, The very reason i didnt go any further than i new was safe to get out of was because i was on my own. I could have taken it up and over the Hill. My brother has a Vauxhall Antara (like a chevrolet Captiva) and i didnt bank on him pulling me out if i got stuck!!

Pics are not bad considering they were taken with and iphone.

Thanks

Hi Northvan,

They are continentals, not sure of any other details, i would run out and look for you but im currently sitting in the middle of the Northsea at work
They sound like the OEM tyres. I had the Conti's on mine, and found them horrible. I guess they work well in the mud.

What are you doing in the middle of the North Sea? Looking for Clarkson, May, and Hammond in there amphibious Hilux?

Yeah i think they are OEM, There wasnt really that much mud, i they were slipping struggling quite a bit, the embankment wanst even that steep and i thought OMG dont tell me this is the limits of the Touareg but once in put it into low range they were fine, But you are probally correct not the best, i will be getting new alloys soon what tires would you recomend?

Found Clarkson & Hammond im still looking for May!! AKA Captain slow

Im a Medic on a North Sea diving vessel.

Cheers

I haven't taken my Touareg off road...yet. I am not an expert on tires, and I am sure that the tires we have in NA are different then what you have available. Do a search on this forum.

I am OK with May going away, although I did like him suffering in the AM Race Car he drove through Italy. Hammond was in the GT3RS and Clarkson was in the Lambo. Very funny!

Nice pics! Once in a while you have to get off the path and push the limits!
