60/40 sounds like the perfect application in this case...battery boost terminals are under the hood on the drivers side.

Thanks good to know... I was wondering where it was as i didnt see it in the engine area. So just curious if you need to jump the treg you would hook it up under the seat
You can jump it by getting a connection between your 12v outlet and another battery or car (they sell those things in car mags). Or via jump points in the engine compartment (the 300M amongst others had those as well).

Thanx Marty! Do you happen to know the fill quantities when I purge it? As an aside they wanted 30 bucks a gal. for the G12. I convinced them that this is just plain un-American and there's no way I was going to spend 150 bucks for 5 gals. So we reasoned that 19 bucks a gal. was still exhorbitant but at least one can start feeling the love again

I'm not sure where you live but that's what they quoted me here in AK. When I told them to get lost, they quoted me 19 bucks; which still outrageous at least was closer to the any ballpark.

Siberian...

Regarding the TPMS sensors i've found a place that sells them for 95 per sensor (cheapest so far). I'll do a bit more digging to see if anyplace else has them cheaper but I doubt it.

The guy told me the 08 require the Beru RDE 007 sensor that 433mhz I just need to confirm this is true but I believe it is.

looked at tire-rack i think they just sell them when you get the rims. I didnt see any options to buy the correct ones by themselves

I'll give TireRack a call tomm to see if they have the proper sensors and how much they would be from there.

Siberian...

Got a Price on the TPMS sensors from tire rack, They charge $352 for 4 433mhs sensors and 4 valve stems. Shipping is 8 bucks. That sounds like the best deal around comes too 88 per sensor/stem.

Hate to interrupt with a reply to the topic of this thread...

One of the best oils out there is Castrol Syntec 0W30 Made In Germany, aka "GC". Highly recommended by the guys over at Bob is the Oil Guy. Those guys are serious about their oil! Check it out: European and Import Motor Oils - Bob Is The Oil Guy
It's 502.00 certified but last time I looked was not on the VW list of approved oils, but that document is kind of hit or miss. Anyway you can usually find it at Autozone, but it's rare at anyplace else.
