Hey Mish - give us a shot when you've got passenger side done and have it be from front and then from rear to allow us to determine if there is a significant widening of stance...

Who's flares are those?
Happy with the quality & fit?
Costo?

Do not like it since the grey runs over the black part on the bumper and the bottom of the car.
if you had a black car and it all looked black it would be better looking I think. That would be about the only good color with that

You need to paint the black bottom parts silver to have it look good...otherwise as it it looks like its just tacked on there.

OK factory part.. me likes. These would be the flares then from the VW Individual program, and are identical to that nice looking on that was for sale in MN that I missed out on?

What is the factory attachment method, I am guessing it is not adhesive but rather clips, pins, bolts type stuff.

So Mish - from whom did you source these beauts so some of us tempted to copy and be efficient about it.

Mish - I gotta say I like the way it lightly accentuates the flare of the fender which is lost a bit on a few of the colors. I do however think that the matte-grey finish of the lower sill, lower facia and such would look a bit better in body-silver given that the flare crosses the lines.

From the back/side view it suggests to me that offset spacers might help give the impression of filling the available width better.

In Mish_Mish 's application, he definitely needs to colour code paint the lowers, since his extensions have already been painted to match.

My question is, what IF one were to leave the the fender flares black, to match the original black lowers? You know...kinda like the Audi Allroad look? I wonder if that would work on a Touareg or not?

Will those fit the T2? I have a 2010 TDI. How much extra do they stick out? Depending what size A/T tires I end up with I may consider those. I prefer not to have my tires throwing slop down the side of the car - at least not on the highway.

Those pics of yours teutonic V10 have exceeded my expectations of what those plastic fender flares are actually capable of stylistically, although I did always say that they would work on a black, shiny, Touareg. ;)

I think Mish's looked odd much due to the rim size, both it being 17/18" but also total presence in width and tire size. 18's with oversized tires would be cool and so would 20" rims and 10" tires coming out closer to the fender edge, then the proportions would have more impact.

As it is, the smaller rims and tires are only made to look smaller by the flares.

I wanted to install the fender flares on my T-Reg too, but when I showed my wife some pictures she didn't like them... I think she didn't like how the rear flares are split into 3? parts.

When I thought about it, she had a point and I changed my mind about them as well (hey, they can be right sometimes!)

You definitely need to paint your lower parts. One guy who did a "wide-body" project with his T-Reg had the flares blended with the body using fiber glass I believe. It made the t-reg look as if it had a wider body that it actually did, instead of having flares added onto the body. Would've been a nice car, had he not used an ugly front/rear bumper kit.

Dunno if you're willing to spend that kind of money to have the flares blended with the body.
