The '08 V6 has the cut-outs already in place that the previous R5 and V6 models didn't, so the V8 style tips fit. I'm not sure if the Cayenne tips will still require trimming of that valence to make them fit. Also, I seem to recall that the Cayenne tips are longer than the Touareg tips, so they may stick out a bit.

alright guys, I got the tips from cayenne turbo, the double rectangular ones, they are about 3 inches too long and will stick out. and even with the cut-out bumper, you have to do some more trimming on the bumper, I'm gonna try to shorten them and see if it fits, let u guys know as soon as i do it

I've had my Cayenne turbo s tips in storage now for 18 months. I asked around and found it was to hard. Will sell them if anyones keen.

I ended up using the Porsche sport design Cayenne tips on mine... but it was a custom install since I removed my muffler and I am using the R50 rear valance.

So I'm curious how the V6 TDI sounds without the suitcase muffler. I'd love to hear an audio clip / see a video clip if you could post one.

No video clip needed... if you want to hear what is sounds like just go outside and turn yours on. No sound difference at all! Even the muffler guy was surprised. LOL I guess we have so much emissions equipment on these new TDI's that the sound is minimal even before it gets to the muffler. I was disappointed since this modification did wonders on my 2004 Cayenne Turbo.

The good news though is that I lost close to 60lbs of dead weight and the turbo seems to spool up sooner with the reduced back pressure. :)
