What would YOU like to see in my performance tune?

I've always be taught by my dad the same thing, do it right the first time, and don't have to worry about it in the future.
And don't cut corners.

Beta testing is just about finished, but I want to run a thorough test on my own vehicle to test (aka abuse :p) a few more things I have in the works such as user selectable modes for more sportiness, towing tune, economy, etc
So basically YOU will be able to switch between modes. Like ok I do a lot of highway driving during the week so I want Eco mode. And the weekends I tow my race car to the track, let me switch to towing mode which has more engine braking and optimized shift points.
In another thread somewhere we were talking about boosting the performance of the Aisen. What kind of stuff can you do with software tuning for the performance tune on these? Can you up the line pressure? Decrease shift speed? Remove torque management in shifts? Anything I'm missing?

Your spot on with all of that, my final testing will be on my own Touareg ( in case something goes awry ) trying t get everything dialed in under the most power I can make with the BiTDi turbo setup.

These transmission are quite robust and can handle over 1000Nm of torque possibly in the 1100-1200Nm range. And the come from the factory with a multi-clutch lockup for the torque converter.

Are ALL versions of the Aisin OC8 rated for 1000Nm - or does the transmission have a range of torque limits dependent on version?

The most robust ones are from the Cayenne turbo models as they have more clutch packs in them.
With that being said with extra line pressure and the correct tuning ours are capable of over 1000Nm in stock form.

I plan on pushing the boundaries of mine to see so I know with confidence what they can do.

Fine, now it sounds more reasonable.

I don't like to do things half assed, if you read all of my reviews you will see that there is not one bad post or review.

I also don't want to push the envelope on someone else's transmission and have it go boom :p

With all the BETA testing I am very comfortable with what I have so far, and also plan to implement some other cool stuff if everything works out...
