I don't have an exact answer, but definitely quite a lot. I no longer have the washer fluid low warning due to another mod I made once. I have dumped literally two gallons in it already.

 

It is nice to be able to pour a whole jug in.

 

I thought I read somewhere that it is about 2.5 gallons.

 

Beat me to it. I was going to say 2 gallons plus a little bit more.

 

I've always thought 9 litres [2 imperial gallons] which is a bit more than the 2 US gallons already mentioned.

 

The windshield washer for a V6tdi is OEM #7P0955453A and has a capacity of 4.5 ltrs.

I think that may be for a 2011 T3.

Here's the part for a 2009 Tdi, with or without headlight washers it is 7.5 litres.

I poured in a full jug, so 3.78L. The dash light wasn't on either.

 

What do I know? I would have called it a washer fluid tank. The internet has taught me the correct name.

VW has decontented the "Container of Sprinklers"

 

Im pretty sure when we first got ours i wacked around 6 - 7 litres in there ... was mighty impressed !!

 

Agree with Odessa, When light is on im putting around 7 liters of water,

 

I'm going to wait untill the light comes on, then fill. 7L is a huge amount.

Now only if it had a heater

 

I have heated spraying nozzles

 

How do you check that you have or not ?? I would doubt i have considering where we are located

 

When you will open the hood you will see small wrapped wires going to nozzles under the cover, if you have those wires it means you have heated ones
