Gone through a huge ordeal to get my phatbox working. Finally got it installed and the software on a computer that supports it, but when I put all the music from my iPod onto the music manager it wouldn't transfer them to the dms cartridge. This is also not my personal computer so when I downloaded iTunes I can't get my songs from my iPod onto the iTunes. I know I need to convert my songs to mp3 s. Does anyone know how to do that and also does anyone know how to get my songs from the iPod onto the iTunes on this computer. Extremely frustrating please help

make sure you 'Load Songs' & point to the folder where all your music is stored. All songs will then appear in your Library. Then connect the DMS cartridge. You should now be able to create your playlists in it and add music to it. when you eject it will sync and update your dms. all the best

Utube had tutorial on how to IPOD your tunes back on to ITUNES, I tried it
and it work, so freakin happy after that

I Myself am running into an issue with my Phatbox install....I just bought it with the cable on Ebay. When I plug the cable into the factory harness it snaps right in. But when I plug the cable into the Phatbox unit nothing comes on....No Lights or anything. I am still waiting on the drive and cradle for it with the appropriate software but I am wondering if I am missing something on the install itself....Any Ideas?

Use All2MP3 for example to convert all your non mp3 music to mp3. I also noticed that the Phatbox has been removed form their website...
