Ok, all the conditions for dynamic high beam have to be met...stalk pushed forward so A symbol comes up, speed above 60, no streetlights, sensor has to be clean, no more than 8 vehicles up ahead, etc etc....doesn't really come on around town much but more on the highways...
My Dynamic Matrix also selectively comes on and often won't dip to oncoming traffic. It's going back next week for recoding lights & Tailgate & Map update fix. I'll get them to re-do or confirm all module changes for the Towbar.

Re: Traffic was coded but it never displayed anything & TCM icon was struck out. I use WAYZ anyway so no biggie. However, since a service a few weeks back, if I use VW navigation, on occasions I'll get an announcement " Your route has been changed due to traffic conditions" when there is a crash ahead. Ok so it is now working on some level but still not displaying congestion.

I gather now Audi matrix lights can handle upto 16 cars at one time to switch individual led's to keep dynamic high beam.
I thought the tech as is on the Touareg is pretty darn good, during the last trip around the country it didn't miss a beat and lights up the road well even with all the traffic going by
The most common time the Matrix fails to dip is when Trucks have LED arrays & its a divided motorway. I can only think it's a factor of the extra distance to the right and that the array LEDs are more directional. Trouble is they can have banks of these arrays and emulate a sunrise when they go highbeam. 🕶🌅🚚

Hi Singh
bought an obdeleven, followed your directions for turning on TMC. accepted me writing in 1024. Pressing the green tick to confirm. it whirred away, then came back with, something went wrong. This ties in with my local mechanic trying previously with 2 different scan tools, and not being allowed to change anything. Any suggestions?. I vaguely remember reading in the forum somewhere that VW will no longer allow making changes. Anything I can do?
I wonder would this also be the reason why my car( and others) doesn`t easily accept map updates
Did ypu try that with the Bonnet up. Some functionality can only be changed with the bonnet up. Also it can take a little while to sync TCM signal when you've completed the change.

I just purchased a CP2A Dongle (Carlink 4.0), that should provide both Apple Carplay & Android Auto Wireless connectivity. They do a dedicated A2A, but their CP2A was at the same delivered "Black Friday" price and is also supposed to support steering wheel control buttons functions.

They also do a TBOX 2.0. They claim this dongle will also push Full Android Apps to the screen in a dedicated Android Session. So you won't have to sideload Apps into Android Auto. It comes with GPS & 4G too (but they didn't spec the LTE frequencies so it mightn't have any/full with Australian Carriers coverage). It claims 100% working on Google Play Store approved Apps - but the ones I would display are older/alternative/root Version APK derived APPs. A bit bigger at 80x89x15mm & 4x the price - so that's a bust for me with not enough info.

I don't do Apple IOS (read "crippleware") but passagers will have the option with the CP2A. Happy to report back on its install & usability after it comes.
