Hi Guys, d/l the july update, no matter how I try, doesn`t get past updating software 0%. I`ve tried NTFS, exfat, sd card, usb stick. There is always the system information folder on any stick, plus meta and data. deleted sys info on stick, no diff. When I insert sd card says searching for update, then says, found update, then switches to updating software 0%, and stays there. Have d/l several times, unzipped several different ways. no joy
It seems to me it knows there is an update but can`t find the executable file to actually start the process.
the update before worked. but not this one.
Did a factory reset of navigation software, no difference.
I am technical, and have been in electronics all my working life, but its got me flummoxed??. I downloaded P0573_MIB2P_RW . I assume that is the correct one.
Any suggestions appreciated. TIA

@Imor2624 Please do.............. as Singh & I have deduced that units with Device part number: 760035067 are problematic, where his unit being 760035067B accepted the update 100%.

Not sure if this is the issue just noticed this pattern.

Ian, mine only comes on when the camera sees NO overhead street lighting.
That's the trigger to activate

The service manager is currently working with Volkswagen Australia with a similar vehicle at the moment to find a solution to this concern,
He said that once he gets more details from them in regards to how to rectify the concern he will be in touch so that we can try the same with your vehicle,

Well it was interesting. They advised that their copy of the navigation had been used on two Touaregs prior to mine but would not load on mine and there is some issue which needs to be resolved in my car. It will go in again next week for the change.

I was able to hop into a new MY23 R-Line at the dealership over the weekend and noticed it had s/w version 2869 loaded.

Good stuff, you got it all sorted.
Perhaps others could try this...why it won't work for some MY models straight off sd card remains a mystery

Just tried this and still no luck at all. Tried through USB 1 & 2. Using a Lexar USB 3.1 to SD adapter
All I get is "Reading data" and a spinning hourglass thingy.

If I remove the map SD card and replace it with another SD card containing radio station logos for example, then it reads for a short while and loads ready for use. no issues.
So frustrating.............

Why is it so touchy, makes no sense. Has anybody tried several times and suddenly its started,with the same card, which would suggest a touchy reader and or software. Or has it never started with a particular card, which would suggest a faulty card. I tried today with a micro sd card in an adaptor and then the same software in a usb stick (usb1) no joy with either????.

I am convinced it is a hardware issue, only taking on A/B units.

Will be good to know if those who couldn't update their nav last can do so with this version...

Will download now and give it a go today as mine is in to the dealer for its annual service tomorrow and they were going to give it a crack.

I downloaded to a pc. Unzipped files to SD card put it into the glovebox slot and up she went. Was actually much quicker to upload in the car than before. Just lucky I guess!

@Imor2624 Did the dealer manage to to get the previous version loaded and if so how, or did you jump the previous version and straight to P603 ??

@Wayne888 You are an absolute legend mate. Followed instructions above ⏏⏏⏏ (post # 167) and loaded seamlessly

I believe after six months of trying that the formatting of the sd card in exFat with an allocation unit size of 4096 bytes is pretty important. (Just my opinion)
