q7 is more luxurious but treg is a better allrounder.

Underneath they are the same it's just the box on top with it's interior/exterior trimmings that differ.

 

Why is the Q7 more luxurious? No its not, driven both..couldn't tell the difference at all.. Touareg has everything like Q7.. Touareg is a better off roader and the Q7 has a third row seats.. Thats the main difference

 

I find the Audi interior better.

Vinayak, touareg gets low range gear box, center and rear diff lock and air suspension.. And the Q7 gets none of these things.. Not even like extra options..

 

I disagree with you sir.q7 has the air suspension as a standard option on all models.secondly it has computer controlled diff locks which automatically switches the power to required wheels.

 

Touareg drives like a car and the Q7 drives like a bus, I hate driving the Q7.

 

Not in pre 2010 models, the Q7 i tested didn't have air.. And secondly I want manual controled diff locks, rather than computer ones.. Low range is what you need too, and thats something you don't have in a Q7.. And lastly, is it easier to drive a bus off road or 4x4?

 

Hahaha a "bus" is what you call Q7?not bad offroader it is that you call it a bus.i agree with you on manual override for diff lock which are way better if someone knows how to use them in given conditions.on air suspension as we had a discussion sometime back,even touareg after 08 stopped giving air.its with the new 2012 they have started again.
