That is a different code. Is it because you bought the vehicle at the end of a model year?
I think its because they called them 2008s but they were actually built during the 2nd half of 2007 production year (mar-july)

Keyless without deadlock.

Um. Wonder what that means.
No idea. I'm also wondering what the "A8A = Basic equipment with deleted option" means. For the price of this toy I would think no options would be deleted! I do know that the German models allow for way more options than we are offered. To build the same model in Germany, selecting the same options I have, the T3 would run 91,000 Euros (About $121,000). Hence the decision to by a U.S. Spec version.

Keyless without deadlock.

Um. Wonder what that means.
No idea, but I do remember my BMW having the deadlock option, and boy did I love that! It literally made the car feel like a vault when I would lock it up. Not even the best thief would be able to shimmy his way through, and even if he/she were to break the window to get in, they still would not be able to open up the door from the inside, and would have to crawl back out again :).

Found it on another website:

Deadlock - a mechanical device fitted to a vehicle door. It operates by throwing a bolt into a receiver fitted to the opposing body section when operated by an external key. Once activated, deadlocks can only be re-opened with the car's remote control or key. It is sometimes called double-locking as you have to press the 'plipper' on the key twice to activate the lock. Deadlocks prevent thieves from reaching in to open the door after smashing the window.

Apparently, some auto manufacturers refuse to fit or offer deadlocks on safety grounds, claiming they could trap occupants in a car following a collision.
