T3 7P Touareg Max Tire Size on 18 inch OEM rims?

Has anyone put on 265/60 R18 or 265/65 R18 rubber on their 18 inch rims and had good luck? No rubbing steering stop to stop at full suspension travel?

Thanks for the help. I want to put on a good AT tire and the 255/55 R18 selection is poor.

Yes, they both fit nicely. 265-65-18 is a 31.5" tires. You may even find people fitting 32.1" tires with not modifications at all.

265 60 r18 is perfect max size in my opinion never rubs

Any thoughts on 255/65/18? A 31.1” tire vs the 265/60/18”, 30.6” tire.
I believe most only looked at the 265/65/18 comparison which is 31.5”.

leads me to believe 255/65/18 could be the perfect match at 31.1”, and optimal sidewall height.
Thoughts?

I bought OEM spec size BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A K02 and they have been really good.

I didn't feel like screwing around too much with changing rims and geometry.

yes 255/55/r18. Odd size of tire but the BFs have been great
