Well first off this is my first thread...

I have been reading threw alot of the threads and just keep coming up with more for my wish list...

Here r just a couple that I would like to do just not sure if its a good idea...

1. Put a twin turbo on my V8
2. Haliogen lights on the interior
3. Rear spoiler
4. Paddle shifters
5. Exaust Tip's
6. Possible body kit
7.Wheels(just not sure about what size I should go n whats looks the best yet)

Well there it is.. So what do you think of where I should start out at??

By the way my ride is a 05' Touareg, 4.2 V* with all the options, auto-suspension, snow package, NAV, everything except the V10 or 12 that I would like to have power wise..

Your reply would be thankful

Here are my opinions:

1. Put a twin turbo on my V8
I'd just sell it and buy a Cayenne TT instead.
2. Haliogen lights on the interior
3. Rear spoiler
Why bother
4. Paddle shifters
Best thing you can do
5. Exaust Tip's
6. Possible body kit
stock V8 tips look better than anything else I've seen, I don't like body kits
7.Wheels(just not sure about what size I should go n whats looks the best yet)
20"ers keep the SUV functionality while looking good...

Okay working with your list lets see...... It would appear that you are going the Sporty route or you secretly want a Cayenne twin turbo. But I would have to concur with nickm on most of his replies.

1. You could be the first cuz most folks don't really want to mess with what is under the hood. I think Abt sportline is the only firm that was offering engine tuning for the V8 outside of a ECU reprogram.

2. I have no clue what you are refering to with that but the touareg is already beautifully lit up at night. Maybe you can change the color of some of the bulbs for the sake of changing something.

3. Sure a Votex or Caractere rear spoiler would be just fine to add to the rear of your car it will add to the sportiness, you know the look you are going for.

4. Paddle shifters are a nice addition if you really plan to do some canyon carving or if you use the tiptronic a whole lot. What the heck they would even give you something to brag about like "These paddles don't come on US spec T-reg I put these in"

5. Nick M is right the V8 tips couldn't look better all nestled up under the bumper like they are.

6. The only body kit that I have seen on a touareg and liked is the Caracter body kit which is nice and pretty widely available through a couple mail order firms.
** But I have yet to see the Hofele design Route GT package installed on a touareg. I only know the firm LLtek to carry this in the US. and it is basically a new front bumper skin that relocates the foglights but if you are going for a sporty look you can paint in the blacked out grill and get the mark V GTI Look. ***

7. Wheels are very important to the performance and appearance of a vehicle. 20's which are more practical and have a wide tire choice still don't look large enough on a T-reg that is not lowered but can pass on one with air suspension.

22's on the other hand fill out the wheel well alot better and are heavier than 20's.

Weight is usually a factor for me when choosing wheels especially for performance as larger wheels affect both acceleration and braking response just as much as they improve cornering.

In general (not working with your list)

You start with suspension and wheels and tires.

At the same time to try to make the vehicle more efficient by changing the oil, plugs, and air filter. "get her running at her best"

As far as visual enhancements go it is up to you to decide what you like and don't like.

You can tell by my signature when that I am biased with some of my answers.
