I am a new proud owner of an 04 Touareg V8. Picked it up Tues, had it in the shop today - I thought a fuse was blown because I couldn't get the dash light to turn on. Turns out, they were just off.
I'm usually pretty good w/ all that stuff, but this thing has more options than a plane, coming from a Jeep Cherokee.

So tonight I spent over an hour sitting in the vehicle with the manual on my lap and I still can't figure out how to change the time on either of the clocks (one on dash and one up by moonroof). The good news is while I was trying to figure out the clock, I realized I had a heated steering wheel. Can't wait to try that out this winter.

Can someone give me a breifing on how to set the clocks?

You set it (Happily, both clocks use the same time source) through the MFI display, just hit the menu button (that's the one above the thumbwheel, I won't try to describe the icon!), and select the CLOCK menu. Should be easy from there.

It should be in your manual, though, 3-1 pages 18 and 21 in mine...

The clock is set through the MFI screen settings and your thumbwheel on the steering wheel. Just work your way down to the settings. Once you set it in the MFI the upper console clock changes with it.

speaking of which, how do you know your model comes with a heated steering wheel?
It was not an option on the '07's, but if you have heater rear seats in the previous years, you should have the heated steering wheel. I forget if this was available on the 2006 models or not.

Another way to set the clock is just to push the clock button on the cluster between the tach and the oil temp guage. That gets you to the clock setting faster the scrolling the the thumb wheel. That is how I adjust mine all the time.

There is a small button to the right behind steering wheel. A green light should appear on the dash indicating it's on. It heats to 77 degrees. The other button on the opposite side is to turn on/off the lights on the steering wheel.
I have I think what they call the "winter package" on my '04 which has the heated wheel, rear heated seats and the ski bag.

So I have this same problem but I have a flat tire warning on my mfi and it won't let me refresh the screen to get to the main menu of the Mfi does anyone have any quick fix ideas ?? Please help second day with my new toy and I feel like I'm not getting to play with all the bells and whistles.
