There is 2009 thread recently resurfaced – about not so obvious features and hidden goodies of the T1 and T2. I’ve found this thread very interesting.
Since T3 secrets were not a subject covered by this thread, I thought this will be a good idea to start talking about T3 cool things which do exist but not so obvious to every 2011+ Touareg's driver. Thus, given a due respect to the original thread without risking to be accused in plagiarism, I’ll start…
I am very familiar with the vehicle (I did RTFM scrupulously, though might not have everything memorized to a “t”), but after a two months of ownership - surprisingly - I have discovered small storage compartments under front seats. Bummer, how could I not see them for two months?
My Touareg lives outdoors between April and November – her slot in the garage is taken by my fishing boat. So, morning dew present on windows and mirrors is a common thing at a time I drive to work. I’ve learned that if ambient temperatures are above 68F, mirror heaters WILL NOT work (my first thought was that heaters malfunctioned and dealer visit needs to be scheduled). The "RTFM again" approach did help avoiding making me fool at the dealer…

P.S. Please note, "F" in RTFM stands for Fahrvergnügen, and not for what you might be thinking about!
