I like the look a lot. And i know that's a great price. I just don't get why some plastic trim around your wheels can be so expensive. I feel a product like that should be no more then a couple hundred bucks!

That is a GREAT friggin price for OEM. If you like the look, pull the trigger. You are paying for direct fitment and good clean design. I don't know what aftermarket flares look like, but man...everyone can appreciate an clean OEM SPEC'd vehicle...and for $420!

A lot of people, including myself, bought the fender flare kits for $79.00 from the dealerships when they discontinued the item. Even ECS at the time was selling for same price, now that the stock has become thinned out the price has been driven up. I own two 04 V8 Touaregs and both of them have the fenders but my spare vehicle is missing a single passenger side rear piece. If you want to dump the fenders at a reasonable price of $150.00 plus the cost of shipping. I originally paid $780 shipped (near cost) for the first set and $79 for the other set.

 

If we're starting a bidding war, I'll offer $200.
