W12 was always a T1 and the R50 a T2, so seeing that you have a T1, I'd stick to the same look but do this instead:http://www.clubtouareg.com/forums/f64/upgrade-bi-xenons-to-adaptive-xenon-headlights-14525.html . IMHO, this will compliment the W12 conversion nicely if you already own a T1.

guys....still have not organised the brakes to be done as january has been busy. should be done in Feb some time.

ojwerks........Yes i went down the Oemplus route as that was the only way i could get the entire front and rear valances with the relevant grills etc that fit it. You can get the front and rear valances from a member here called spassmore in the UK but you will need to get the rest of the minor parts. The w12 kit cost approx US$4500 including the side skirts and took them close to 3 months to get the correct wheel arches (very frustrating). At the end of the day i got what i needed i guess.

mathewf......would love to supercharge the v8 but i think i have over capitalised just a tiny bit already

vwdude..........have not had a chance to get a video clip for you as yet. will be away this weekend so maybe the following one. Sorry for not getting it done as i said i would.

Unfortunately I have been looking at getting the r50/w12 kit as well probably the last 5 months and it seems the only route to get it easily was oemplus. Sass can get you the valences used at a good price but finding them takes a long time as well as shipping is very expensive. I also tried eBay from Germany and other places but nobody from there wants to ship parts here.

Personally I think red calipers are WAY overplayed, if anything I'd go with Silver calipers or VW blue

I was going to make those too points as well:
- Darker T2 tail lights.
- Audi/VW sport blue calipers.

You've got the Rinspeeds - well done there, and the exhaust is awesome.

Actually, for the front and rear valances you can just order them from your local VW dealer. It was part of the Lux Limited Touareg available in the US. The hard part is getting the R50 side skirts and fender flares. They do make a smaller side skirt that was part of the Lux Limited kit as an option. If you are friendly with your VW dealer like I am they can hook up some pretty good pricing for this stuff.

The only issue is that these will be US versions, so the front valance will still have the orange reflector built in. I bought a used one from a fellow member here who imported it from Germany so mine does not have this reflector for the front valance.

Does anybody have a "parts list" with actual Part Numbers so I can start working with my parts guy, thing is, I have a really good relationship with my VW parts guy at the dealer in Miami, but i need part numbers!!!!

For us in the t1 you can get the front and rear lower valences from a 2006 individual aka evil. However my vw dealer couldn't find a part number for those as they only made 200 of them? When they look it up in their parts catalog it just shows the standard stuff?
