To my knowledge there is no such thing available for us unfortunate ones without Air Suspension. I definitely would like a 3" or so lift. I want to run 33's. Anyone else? Does anyone know of any company with plans to produce a lift? I think i need to go after this and try and make it happen. This goes for black Steel wheels also, or a set of Black Mojave Teflons. Werd! :mrgreen:

BAHHHHH not a chance...now that would be dumb. First the 3.0 tdi t3 is already faster then a v10...mine is much faster more power and torque...sounds better, way better mpg..and i can actually service it. Lets not even start about interior style...better transmission. That would be a huge down grade.
Other than you would be gaining air suspension on the V10.

Maybe thats a good think in utah but here where there is snow and salt its not. My buddy just bought a t1 v6...we looked at 6 or so t1/t2 with air more then half had issues with the system.
Maybe if the t3 air system was available id try it but not really willing to gamble on a t1/t2.
You are way to paranoid. Been running mine in snow and salt since I've had it. Works just fine. You think I don't get snow in UT?

paranoid like i said more than half the ones ive ever seen with air have issues...thats not paranoia thats horrible odds. Plus i dont care if the air did work the v10 is a money pit and offers nothing over the v6 tdi other then the fact that you can say you have a v10
For me the V6TDI is the best balanced motor for the Touareg. I have driven all what was offered in NA. V8 and 10 make them nose heavy. I like the air suspension on mine and I don't have any desire to get rid of mine unless VW decides to bring the option back for order.

I’m all about the T2. I love the seating position(not so sunken down in the cockpit), and selectable 4wd. And, the later models were nicely appointed. They also didn’t have the fading button syndrome. It got too car like after 2010 for me.
And, I will kindly disagree. Not much sounds better than that V10 diesel. And, I could be wrong. However, I’m pretty sure the V10 makes more HP than the V6 TDI, and WAY more TQ.

it may have more paper power but it cant beat physics...power to weight the 3.0 is faster stock to stock...not to mention way easier to modify
