Considering it has a coolant leak did you buy it with RWC?

 

No RWC, got that done myself today.

 

I wish we got those options in the 7p here in the USA!

 

My Canadian 2015 has air suspension and 4Xmotion 😳

 

Stupid logic & perseverance... thank God they are quickly being replaced by ChatGPT.

 

Pulled intake etc off to do the valley leak today. Valley was near full to the brim of coolant. Cleaned it up, cleaned up cooler, cleaned up adaptor plate. Put on adaptor plate with new seals. Tested coolant bypass valve, leaking out the shaft, so will order one of those.

Also cleaned out both intake tract valves, intake horn, and intake manifold.

 

Quite a bit for that odo reading.

 

Eh, it's about the same as my others have had at similarish odo, think one was in the 140s, one in 170s.

ya but we know how it is in Onterrible - y’all drive 6 hours each way to commute. OPs was probably driving Miss Daisy for most of its life.

 

I'm not cleaning it until I take the manifold off to deal with valley reseal.... One of these days... Maybe

Finished this off a little while ago. New coolant bypass valve fitted, everything in the v used genuine parts. Replaced the water pump as well. Flushed cooling system and filled. No leaks and happy Touareg.
