Ok. I know the combo. Not my choice either and probably is easier to keep clean but I must admit, my fears of the corn silk were unfounded. I have actually found it extremely easy to keep clean. Granted it shows the dirt up earlier / more, but a wipe down with a damp cloth and it's clean.

The main reason why I got it is how roomy and airey it feels. Everyone comments when they get in. It's also quicker to cool down.

All that said, I have only had the treg for 5 months so it may look tired in 3 years.

Not my thing, I had blue on beige on my V8, loved it when I bought it then hated it a couple of months later...ultimate color combo IMO was what I had on my T2, galapagos on sienna.

This is my dream interior. I love it!

I think I will buy another Treg, then have my welder dude move the rear hatches to the sides--going for a gull-wing effect. Then change the rear hatch to a twin swing-open and beef up the electrical tap to support a keg cooler.

It's an opinion and preferences will be all over the board. That looks great, but for me it's brown with cornsilk. Of course, when the girlfriend said I would look "so sexy " driving that car, it kinda sealed the deal.

Certainly to each their own, I really like the Galapagos/Teak on the T2 as well. Very sharp color combination.

As far as buying, it's quite a bit over what I had originally budgeted, but it's a hell of a lot newer with similar miles as some of the T2's I've been looking at.

Also has a pretty decent carfax with service records. Although it failed emissions testing a couple times. They must have fixed it though.

I agree there really isn't a bad color combo. The paint quality on the T3s is waaay up vs the T2s as well, so the metallics like blue, black, brown etc are extremely deep and rich looking.

Paint might be up from t2, but IMHO still softer than my black T1.
