Hi folks
I have a Porsche Cayenne V6 turbo diesel I believe it's is touareg engine 3.0 the dpf pressure sensor is located on bulk head as touareg is it has 2 pipes coming out of it however 1 is going to dpf the other is a small rubber pipe open ended it stops around 2 inches below the sensor and doesn't go anywhere is this normal? I have checked dpf and can only see 1 pipe outlet on it a metal pipe going to rubber and back to metal I have tried on Porsche forum but no one seems to know

Ok cool from other replies on here I'm led to believe that's correct as one is for atmospheric comparison. My biggest issue is my sensor reads -700 at all time idle and at load so I'm thinking maybe new sensor required as I'm led to believe the readings should change depending on load

Correct info above on the two pipes on the sensor.
For the 3.0 CASA engine the part number of the sensor is VW-059906051A

Thanks for the info it's appreciated, so do you think the sensor is broken due to the live data Info?
Are you getting an error code from the sensor and that the reported values are not plausible? If so, there are really only 3 possibilities.

1. The sensor is broken.
2. There is an issue with the wiring between the sensor and ECU.
3. There is an issue with the ECU.

By far the most likely case is #1 and that the sensor is simply broken. These are known to fail. I had to replace mine this spring, when it started reporting non-plausible values. And since this sensor is not very expensive (and not super hard to replace at least on the Touareg), I would maybe just start by replacing it. If that doesn't fix it, then investigate possibilities 2 and 3.
