First Post, first issue with new car
Have seen many threads discussing valve body issues, clunking gear changes, drive train bangs, body shudders, bad vibrations.....
I have just experienced my first experience of drive train shock as the car changed down both on the highway and at local road speed. Touareg 2004 V6.
I am wondering if there is a way to test conclusively that it's an issue with the valve body?
From several posts, I see that most mechanics take a "stab in the dark approach" replacing parts without much science.
Great board you've got here, already got heaps out of older posts.
thanks
Paul
