How do the Hanooks ride?Are they really quite like the 4x4 sport continentals?And how do they handle rain and such?Thanks.

 

I should mention that it came w/Pirelli Scorpions - burned those off inside of a year, replaced w/the OE Conti - dont really care for the feel. They were less on all points. When deciding to change the rims, agonized over the tires. Decided to try the Hankooks - price & overall ratings.

Been TOTALLY surprised so far - the ride is amazingly SMOOOOOOOTH and QUIET. Got some good rain a few days back - decided to push it a bit - they took hold quite well. Now, havent gone thru anything that would offer a test for hydroplaning yet (THAT will be the REAL test), but so far . . . . no complaints.

Thanks.I am in the process of purchasing new ones and being these are basically the same size except that it has a touch more rubber on it my speedo should slow down a bit.Thanks again for the info.

Great lookin ride!. I noticed that you have the front windows tinted. Is it Llumar tint? If so, were you able to match the back windows? What tint is it?

YEP - that's the Llumar tint - matches PERFECTLY!

how was the Tire Presure Monitoring System work with your new wheels ? plus will it get so much noise or vibration if you hit the 80mph or higher ?

Ordered new set of TPMS for the new wheels - everything works as it should. Have had no issues since the switch over. I clear 80mph daily, havent expereinced an increase in noise level.
