I don't see to many Tregs around the area of northern Baltimore. Just wondering where everyone is at?
Hello fellow city dweller. Greetings from SW Baltimore (Hollins Market).I'm downtown in Locust Point. There is one Treg and one Cayenne here on the same block.
Why yes, I can imagine that situation and a very good member here who also happens to be a Mod had this happen to him in front of his house. That was bad enough, but his neighbor made a video of it and put it on YouTube. He has yet to live that one down..:evil_laugh:Oh, I don't have air-suspension, so I'm not plowing through anything above 8 inches without proper snow-tires. Can you imagine the embarrasment being stuck in a Touareg and needing to be rescued?
That's great. Montgomery County can be rural in some areas. What tires are you running?20" deep in moco and I was turtling for a brief moment. Wasn't long before I was on my way. Still learning the capabilities of my treg but the more I drive it, the more I love it. Keep the snow coming. My previous car was an Audi A6, it too was a beast in foul weather.
I heard they wear too fast and are loud when once they reach half their tread life. Various members have raved about Toyo's, Coopers, and Michelin Lattitudes. Bizzak's seem to be in the top five with members for snow tires. Lots of threads on CT discussing tires. Just all depends on what your driving conditions are and what you want from your tires.P scorpions. They are original equipment but I'm still deciding if I like them. They didn't fare to well on tire rack reviews. Any good recommendations?
