I can believe it. Keyless start is a cool feature but adding it to the 2011-2013 is quite a bit more complicated and costly than adding it to the 2004-2006 models using the kit I offer. Of course, that kit is for cars that already have keyless entry, so it doesn't need to have as many parts and no recoding.

How involved in the install? I'm really interested in this but would like to know what it entails. I'm currently installing the area view system (used parts + kufatec harness) and a new sound system and was thinking of tackling keyless start next.

Do you make a custom harness? It looks like the system has 4 antennas, do those need to be added?

I'll post a thread on it when I'm done. I got all the parts in but just waiting on the backordered harness from kufatec.

Yes I have the backup camera (parts will be for sale) so I may have some unused wires left over. Kufatec said this wouldn't be a problem.

There is no separate harness to take out for the rear view camera if it came with it from the factory.

This is incredible, thank you. I'm looking for a new Touareg and the executive is a little over my price. Knowing I can add this feature makes me very happy. With the door handle does this mean I can keep the key in my pocket?

Do you, or has anyone done a write-up yet? I would like to to know what the install entails, picture would be great too please.

If you're looking at a new Touareg I'm pretty sure every 2014 has keyless entry and start, not just the exec. I've been buying parts to do this retrofit and I'll try to take enough pictures to do a write up since I failed at doing so for my area view cameras.
