I am trying to find out if there are any other VCDS codes in use for Air Suspension Settings other than 0015521. I have examined several scans from different Air Suspension cars and all ( so far) have the same coding.

Below is what my vehicle reports..

Address 34: Level Control Labels: None
Part No: 7L0 907 553 J
Component: LUFTFDR.-CDC- 3C3P1 3125
Coding: 0015521
Shop #: WSC 31414 790 00001
VCID: 3A7122A3714EC3C82F1

What I am looking to find out if there are other combinations in use for T1 or T2's particularly the R50 spec vehicles. Or on the other hand does anybody have any info on the coding scheme? I am interested in finding out if I can change the level of damping on the shocks for each of the set points ( Comfort, Auto and Sport) as in my opinion even Sport is way to soft for serious driving. My preference is something closer to Golf GTI damping levels.

Any thoughts folks???

Stuart..

i believe there is a thread on here with the ride height settings, also it is only possible to change the setting which affects all 3, meaning you cant make different heights for all 3.

I want to know how you can change the 140kph lowering setting if any one knows, when you reach this speed the car auto sinks to sport, i would like to change that 110kph

BUMP !!!!

Gents ( and Ladies), If you have an R50 or a W12 T1 or T2, can you please tell me the coding used in your vehicle for Address 34: Level Control.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BUMP !!!! Again...!!!!

Somebody MUST have a Vagcom scan from an R50 or a W12 (T1 or T2) from which they can tell me the Address 34: Level Control, coding.

All & any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stuart..

not that many W12 around and the people who bought them including R50 are probably minted and dont even know what a VAGcom is

Interesting Progress

Bails kindly provided his R50 Address 34 coding which was 0015541 as compared to my original of 0015521. As the part number for the shockers in all Air Suspended Tregs is the same ( mind you the Air Springs vary dependent upon vehicle engine options) it looks like any variations in damping firmness is controlled via coding.
Following this thought, I changes my coding to reflect the R50 spec, and after a brief lap around the local street, the differences between comfort/auto/sport appear to be more obvious, and apparently much firmer. Mind you I will need to spend a bit more time testing.

If anybody has any additional information on address 34 coding , I would really appreciate some input. I plan to gently increment some of the values to attempt to identify what scope and impact the values might have. Ross Tech have absolutely nothing for this address on their site( Wiki). I have noticed that Audi have coding values for their AllRoad models of 2215521 which look very similar, but may not have anything in common. However on the same Audi site a person mentioned that the range for damping was 0-4 but did not mention which number. And it may be unrelated.

Anyway if you have any more info, I would really appreciate the input.

Looking forward to our collective greatness...

Thank you for sharing!!

Once the weather warms up here, and I re-install my 20 inch summer mags on, for starters, I will check my coding to see if it is the same as yours(which I suspect it is), and then change the values to 0015541 and report back.

With the super soft, 18 inch mags and winter tires that I have on now, it takes away much of the feel and contrast between sport-comfort settings, so I must wait until the 20 inch summer package is back on to experiment with this.

Another interesting comparison... My Touareg's Address 34. With that of a 2008 Phaeton both appear to use variants of the same controller as the part numbers XXX 907 553 X.

So obviously there is plenty of scope to play with in the coding department... Things could get very interesting.

Even 110 kmh would be good here in the "Nanny State from Hell"

Another from span Audi Q7

Same as the standard Treg....

On the Ross-Tech example page for 7L6 Touareg Level Control Calibration it shows a Treg coded as 0025520. Which is another variant. Would be nice to find out the code values.

Codes for Touareg's so far..

0015521
0015541
0025520

Audi
2215521

Phaeton
0005531
0017700

My best guess so far is the second figure from the right s the damping in "Sport" mode with a range of 0 to 4 ( or maybe 1 to 4 ) with four being highest damping. So far seems logically correct, but that's only a guess.. Lux Phaeton = 0, Basic Treg = 2, Phaeton W12 = 3 , and Ball and All R50 = 4.

Over the next few days I will try them all and see what I can break!

I have sent Ross-Tech support an email asking if they have any further details, as VCDS does not have any in built help for Address 34. I hope they care to respond.

If you have Air Suspension and a VCDS Scan, please check to see if your coding is different to the codes in the list.. If is is not in the list, pleas post it or PM me with it. The more info I can get the more fun we can have...
