What I'd like to see from those puppies though, before I commit is, what do the brake lights look like?
I'm very strict when it comes to brake lighting, and any measures that can be taken to stray off a rear end collision. Even if it means 1/10th of second extra response time, due to well placed, and super bright brake lights.

In the case of these ones up above(the round style), my question is( I hope it's not a stupid one), when the brakes lights come on, does the extra space inside the unlit circle also light up with a much brighter light, hence making it a solid filled up circle? Or does only the existing lit up circumference of the circle, just light up even brighter? I'm hoping that it is both circumference and inner part of the circle all lighting up!

I like the LED total of 48 pictures going to make use LED taillights.
But I'm 24LED inside the circle can be added to.

It requires about an extra 20 dollars

Type B is what I had in mind, only for safeties sake, but if I'm off the mark, or inaccurate in my thinking , please feel free, or anyone else for that matter, to set my thinking straight.

When you say, "I like the LED Total of 48..." are you saying that you prefer type A over type b? If that is the case, can you please clarify as to why you prefer option A? Is it the looks you prefer on type A, or something else technical worth noting?

I don't want to make the wrong choice here! Like I said, I'm leaning on Type B. $20 more is no problem either.

would this be also possible?

I like type A but when the brake lights come on I would want extra LEDs.
There are two possible stop configurations but I do not know if my last one is possible.

I am very interested in in option 2 or 3 of the group buy.

Shimao, Alexn just made a very good point! It being late last night when I was looking at Type A and Type B, I was being careless and it just occurred to me also, that Type A position lighting is indeed what I want, BUT I do want the Type B brake lights. I don't like the Type B position lights at all. The third option that Alexn suggested is probably the best one ;)

I agree with what Alex has as well...looks perfect, but is very safe as well.

If I go for option #3 where I will send you a set of taillights....when do you need them by? How long would it take?
If that does not work out I will order option #2.

I am thinking of getting a second set of lights and ship them to you with something from good old Canada.

Hey Alex,
I'm also going with option 3. I was thinking if a few people go with option 3 we can share the cost of the tail lights. Unless you just want to keep an extra set.

Sounds like a plan. There will be an extra set floating around after.
I am not sure about you but my 2010 has the dark red rear lights and I was thinking of getting the same to get modified. Does your have the red or dark red tails?

We have to find out from Shimao if it is okay with him to make one set after the other rather than making them roughly at the same time. With shipping once one set is completed it might take a while before he can work on the second set.

I too am ready to order, one question though, this is really just to get a feel what the rest of you guys are thinking.... I have T2 taillights installed on my treg right now and I have the original T1's sitting in a box in the garage, should I switch them out and send the T2's to have the Led's put in? That would look best, right?

Questions --- and I apologize if I missed it.

1: Will these be plug and play and do they prevent the Check Lights warning from happening?
