Was worried by:
Kilometers since last regen: 133170m
Then I realized it was meters not km. 83mi I can live with.

Hey Soot,
I'm wondering how to go about checking my ash values on the CKDA V8 engine seeing it has two Engine control modules and twin DPF's fitted, can you throw me any ideas?

Same as you would on ours except you look under each controller, 01 and 11
Go to adv measuring values and search for the terms as shown in my sample (ash, soot, etc)

Did scan today and this is what I show, seems pretty good?
There is a big difference between the soot mass readings, I wonder why that would be?

I don't know for sure that the 2nd DPF wouldn't be monitored, but that doesn't sound right. I see you've check only one of the controllers. Where is the 11 data?

01 should be master ecu, so look for something along these lines

Thanks to saVAGeSoot, we have been able to positively establish that both banks of PDF's are indeed being monitored in the CKDA V8 engine as evidenced by readings shown on these AMB below.

Very interesting Tony.
I don't know what the V8's DPF ash limits are, but perhaps one of you owners on that side of the pond have come across the spec in your manuals/service info.

You see why I was telling you in your initial report that things don't add up?
Based on your accumulation rate since your previous report, you should've been ~0.2L at the first report if the DPF was original and no ECU resets were done, etc.
