looks like from a Google search, that that part number is out of a 2014 Pepper Cayenne. Can't tell you if it's a gasser or TDI flash on the firmware, though.

Correct sir! :wink2:

This is from a TDi Cayenne. VCDS can read info, clear codes, re-code etc...

Probably will also work for the ECU as well on the Cayennes and maybe even some of the power transmission safety systems like ABS, etc...

Very happy with the TCM update/restore from Yrktreg. Communications was excellent and the entire process went smoothly. Initial impressions; quicker/lower rpm shifts around town, more engine breaking then before but not as much as my 2011. Expect it will improve my around town mpg, TBD. Much closer to the driving experience of the 2011. Pre and post VCDS scans are exactly the same. I’d recommend this to anyone thinking about it and wouldn’t hesitate to do business with Joe again.

Thank you sir, it was great working with you...

I also did the TCM update with Joe. The transaction was perfect and Joe is a pleasure to work with. The Touareg shifts the way it did before the TDI update. I would not hesitate to go to Joe for anything else in the future.

Could someone please provide details of how to contact Joe, or find someone who is capable of doing this mode. Since the TDI mod, not happy with the high RPM gear change when cold, as well the loss of engine breaking is sad, would love to get the setup returned to precondition.
I am in Canada and expect it could be a challenge to find a local capable of doing the work.
