I essentially confirmed this, aside from the smaller green Fakra.
Okay, confirmation 2.0. I'm revising my statement regarding the smaller green Fakra. It is there, but it got buried in the insulation when I was running the HSD wires for the camera.
Lessons Learned
So meine Damen und Herren (boys & girls), what I've learned today. The wiring kit from Kufatec is totally unnecessary if you already have RVC...at least the actual wiring. The HSD cables for the cameras are available from VW, which I believe are 7P1971298B plus 7P6971298G (front wire). I've seen this set for less than $80. If you want to spend the €270 plus shipping, that's up to you, but from what I've learned, it's not necessary and just creates much more work, with opportunity to screw stuff up.
That being said, what is necessary if you already have RVC? You need the 18 pin connector, and to run two wires to the button on the dash. There may even be a place to connect it to further back in the car as
cgalford stated, but I didn't explore this. I will post later what wires need to be transferred from the T54 to the T18 connector, and their pin position for reference.
Along with that, I don't subscribe to Kufatec's method of drilling through the T25 connectors on the main wiring harness in the door jams to run the HSD wires to the cameras. All that leads to is potential damage to existing wiring, breaking the T25 connectors, or worse. The method I followed was more complex in a way, but much cleaner. When I ordered the mirrors from Germany, they came with the door wiring harnesses. You have to be careful in which ones you order, in case your car has features that the donor car doesn't, such as memory seats, Dynaudio, KESSY, etc. Mine came from a car that was loaded, which is fine if your trim level is lower. I replaced the door wiring harness in each door with the harness from the donor car, which included the HSD cable to the mirror cameras. All that is left, is to connect it on the car side with the way too long HSD cables the Kufatec supplies, or shorter cables (proper length) from VW. If you buy the proper cables set from VW, they
should plug directly into the T25 connector in the door jam. If you are like me, and didn't discover this until you were halfway through install

, then you need a set of adapters to change the cables from male to female at the end of really long Kufatec cables. Those two HSD adapter cables were $52 each. You'll need to remove the plastic connector from one end of the adapter cable, and plug it into the T25 on the main wiring harness in the door jabs. If you get the whole correct harness above, you probably won't need them (again, makes me want to cry).
If you are doing this, do yourself a favor, and if your Touareg doesn't have blind spot monitoring (Lane Change Assist, Side Assist, whatever VW markets it as this week), this is the time to do it. You have to replace the mirrors either way, so find a set with the the indicators. If you do this, and get the door wiring harnesses with it (like I did), the door wiring will be there as well. You'll have to run a cable set to the rear bumper from the CAN Gateway, one wire to the fuse box, and then another two pairs to each T25 connector on the doors. I got this harness from a chinese site (AliExpress) for maybe $40 or something like that, and it's perfect. It's probably from the VW factories in China and grey market, but I think it's actually better than the Kufatec harnesses. It even comes with the wires to run inside the door to the mirrors for the indicator, but if you purchased the correct mirrors with the correct door wiring harnesses, you won't need them. Your big expense with this will be the radar units that hide behind the rear bumper. They can be found on ebay.de quite easily for a few hundred bucks for the set. You need 7P6907566 and 7p6907568. They may or may not come with the mounts, but they are relatively cheap. I'm mounting mine tonight, once I take the bumper off.
For owners in North America, VW doesn't install the rear fog light on any VW. ROW gets them (at least in Europe). As long as you are running wiring, add an extra from the front to the drivers side rear bumper from the CCM. All you need is a two pin connector, and the rear fog light. Unfortunately, you need to order it from Europe, but it's only like $30 and comes as the whole reflector assembly, which you can replace when you take off the bumper for the Lane Change Assist. The other pin is a ground pin, which you ground to the ground point in the left rear in the spare wheel well.
