Autobon went out of business and I don't know where he is now.

On my '05, the tint shop in Boulder that did mine didn't have the green, so he used a 3M tint, that while it's not green, it does take a very hard look to notice the difference in color.

Thanks TreginginCO, I actually called Llumar and found out that there are a couple places in the area:

Solar Specialties in Broomfield 303-439-2570 and
Advanced Solar Concepts in Littleton 303-933-7052

Trouble is, no one is answering the phone at either place. Will let you know who gets the biz...I may drive to both tomorrow....

i just had the Lluumar 35% AT on, and it was specifically designed to match the factory color, it matches perfectly. Also had a clear bra installed on bumper,hood,fenders,mirrors,lights and fuel cover.

Beware of CA laws about window tinting. Small town cops like to target tint on front windows.

Mine are tinted lighter than the rear, and I have no windshield tinting, but my wife has been hastled about it.

I have all glass in my other car tinted the same with no cop comments thus far.

anyone get 15% tint for the front windows, i am thinking about getting 15 all around... i wanted to put the 35% in the front windows but it didnt go with the rear ones, so i decided to put 15% all around limiting the green and having a consistant black againt the black paint...

This is a 40% all around tint on clear glass. A 15% would be too obscure, IMO. But then....

with the type of interior you have it makes your tint a lot more transparent, but it looks nice... how come your rear windows arent greenish/ charcoal color? did you get it replaced?

i figure that having the tint under the existing tint will create a darker tint in the rears without having to go limmo in the rear...

I decided to buy it with clear glass all around and tint them, just because in the early days I wasn't sure I could find a match for the fronts plus I thought the rears looked too dark for my taste.
These pics are taken on a bright sunny day and of course the sand beige interior has its effect, looks different in less light situations.

yeah, your right.. the side view shot looks a lot darker than the other pictures... i guess i am trying to push matching the windows with the car paint and get rid of the green tint (somewhat)... also pushing to stay legal, but everything is a risk when aftermarket adjustments are made..

Anyone in Boston area looking for the Llumar 35GN?

Brian at Tint King has just ordered a whole roll after I talked him into it, mentioning that others from the forum would also want it. I'm gonna get mine done on Tuesday 28th June. He's charging $100 for front 2 windows, he normally charges $120. So if you call and mention Touareg tints, he'll have enough of it now.

I just had mine done in their Littleton location (303-738-TINT, ask for Brandon) on Monday and they did a great job for $69. Got the 35% Llumar ATR.
