Has anybody had their front windows tinted on their treg? If you did, did you match them up to the back or just get them all done again so they would match up?

I have been looking around for a few days and just can't seem to find this film anywhere. My buddy owns a shop and said he will put the film on for me if i buy it myself. Can the film be ordered online anywhere?! I might also throw another layer of the film over the back windows to darken them just a bit

The back windows are already tinted. The Llumar makes the fronts match the rears. It's a perfect match, and greatly improves the look.

I just got off the phone with a certified llumar dealer and he told me that the AT35 film is crappy because it is a dyed charcoal film. I did some research and found a ATR35 which is a mixture between dyed and metallized aluminum, plus it has the green hue. So, it is a little higher end, and should last longer. Anybody used this yet?

Check you local laws before tinting.
One of my employees took it for a small pickup job and got pulled over by the RCMP a week ago.
RCMP told him tinting of any windows is only allowed behind the driver. Also told him to tell the owner aka me to remove the film.
As a good citizen I did not listen and will wait till RCMP get to me.

funny! i know people from back home that got tickets for having dark tinted windows after their first time getting pulled over, so it looks like you got lucky my friend. Im gonna see if about ordering a set of tint for the front ive was wondering just 2 days ago about tinted the front windows and what do you know, somebody thought about it before i did.

sorry to butt in did you get your tickets yet. I have a funny feeling Canada could be the last time to see U2 play live for a long time, about the tint on your front windows is it very dark at night and how would you see a bike with little or no light mine is factory tinted back behind driver but none on passenger door or drivers it wont pass its NCT TEST AND IS NOT ROAD SAFE 5 PENALTY POINTS, not cool!!!!

I do understand your concern, but it is not as dark as you would think. I would say less than half as much as the rear windows. I do not agree that is limits visibility for fellow road users.
I did not even think about it until a week ago. Got back to the Dealer cause I thought it was like that from factory. If you look really close you see it's a film.

I just got my front two windows tinted...i didn't get the llumar film because the guy didn't have it, so he used a regular black film. You can't really tell the difference in color, but once I got in the car I noticed that the film he used was a lot darker than the factory tint on the back....oh well.

I bought the same window tint from PAP and I took the film to an AutoOne near my house and they could not get this to work. They said the film was not cut out correctly and might not work for an 09 touareg. I dunno if the guy was an idiot or there was a problem with the tint.
Does anyone have a small roll that I could purchase. They said if I gave them non pre cuts so that they could cut it then they could do it. But the pre cuts apparently do NOT work for the 09 touareg, unless someone else got it to work. The installer said the film is just not cut right....
Does this place still work RM window tint @ 719 227 8981? If I call them someone posted this a while back will it still work? Please guys I really want to tint my 2 front windows with the green type tint...Llumar..and none of the dealers by my house have this color...
I took it to my buddies tint shop and he put it on for me. He was very impressed by the tint and is going to recommend it to future touareg owners. Have you tried contacting PAP and finding out whats up?
