Has anybody had their front windows tinted on their treg? If you did, did you match them up to the back or just get them all done again so they would match up?

yes i have and they do match great. I live in colorado springs colorado and had a shop called rm window tint they did great also had them do a clear bra also great job any questions let me know.

Do you remeber what grade or percent they are that matched up good?

I just called the shop, tint nsme is lumistar it is 35% and 38% heat rejection. Hope this helps

You want Llumar "AT-35 GR" - this was specially formulated to match the Touareg tint. Contact Llumar to find an installer near you, if the guy you are working with doesn't know about this.

Personally, I can't stand the Touareg green tint. I don't understand why some manufacturers choose to put color in their tints eg: Mercedes Sport C Class (light blue) and others...

I put a non metalic 35% gray on the rear doors and cargo area and 20% metalic on the front doors. Net color transmission on the "double tint" is around 15% and it's just tolerable at night.

Looking out of the car, there's a slight tint of green but, for the most part, it's washed away. Looking into the car, you can't see any green at all. It looks great against the black paint.

That was my other option, to just get them all done again. I hate the green tint. The light blue tint looks good on certain colors of the benz but not all. The green tint is terrible though, especially on my treg which is colorado red.

I tried calling into there and it's disconnected. I know this is an older post but I just got my Treg and am really ancy about getting stuff done to it.

I get a lot of compliments on my green tint,but I have a green car. Some colors don't look good in it.

Autobon went out of business and I don't know where he is now.

On my '05, the tint shop in Boulder that did mine didn't have the green, so he used a 3M tint, that while it's not green, it does take a very hard look to notice the difference in color.

Does anyone know of a shop doing the Llumar 35GN in and around Boston?

I called Llumar, and they gave me the closest official Llumar dealer in Rhode Island, and even they dont stock the Green (called the shop too).

Or if this brand is not available, anyone know of other brands that match well?

I can give you the number to a shop in colorado springs colorado that will precut the Tint and ship it to you. Then you can have anyone that knows what they are doing install it for you. I have done this for a few members here, just let me know.

Call RM window tint @ 719 227 8981. They have no problem shipping to you. Price may vary I am not sure what you need. Just give them a call and they will take care of the rest.
